Contacts module (January 29, 2025)

  • Current status: End of Life

Magnolia’s Contacts module is deprecated.

Use the 6.2 version of the module if you want to use the Contacts app in 6.3.4.

Install the 6.2 version in your Maven dependencies.

1 See 6.2 Contacts module for the latest version. Alternatively, if you have an existing 6.2 installation, copy its 6.2 .jar file to the lib folder in your 6.3 installation and restart. You can find the .jar file at: /webapps/magnoliaAuthor/WEB-INF/lib/magnolia-contacts-<6.2_COMPATIBLE_VERSION>.jar.

Local image recognition submodule (September 4, 2024)

We have discontinued the option to use a local, pre-trained neural network for the Image Recognition module. This feature was experimental and relied on outdated and unmaintained libraries. Amazon Rekognition is now the reference implementation for the Image Recognition module.
