Image Focal module releases

This page provides the release changelog and a compatibility matrix for the module to Magnolia version.

Changelog

The changelog gives you an overview of the changes made to the Image Focal module at each release.

In 6.3, Image Focal was provided as an incubator module (dam-focal). In 6.4, it is promoted to a DX Core extension with a new module name: image-focal. The Magnolia 6.4 compatible version of this extension is 2.0.

If you previously used the incubator and want to upgrade to this new extension:

  1. Uninstall the dam-focal incubator module.

  2. Update dependency management to use the image-focal extension version 2.0.x.

Existing focal point data is preserved when switching modules.
